Knowledge Resilience: Building the Organizational Brain

When knowledge leaves, capacity collapses — and it leaves every time a registrar retires or a director takes a job across town. The usual answer is a chatbot. This session argues the chatbot is the last step, not the first: an institutional brain is not an archive but the maintained relations among the things in it, and retrieval-augmented generation is only as good as the agreement it retrieves from. Viktoria Popova joins me for this one, bringing a decade of knowledge-management work from the field to a question every campus is about to answer by default if it doesn't answer on purpose.
