AFIT welcomes Dr. Muddassir Siddiqi, President of College of DuPage

We are delighted to welcome Dr. Muddassir Siddiqi, eighth President of College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, to our collaborative community of innovators.  

After a nationwide search, Muddassir succeeds AFIT member Dr. Christine Hammond, who has been serving as interim president since February. We are thrilled that the College of DuPage’s involvement with AFIT will continue under Muddassir’s innovative leadership. 

Muddassir brings more than two decades of transformative leadership experience to his new role, spanning both corporate and higher education sectors. As Vice Chancellor of Instructional Innovation and Digital Strategy and President of Central College within the Houston Community College System, he spearheaded district-wide initiatives that revolutionized student success through curricular reform and the implementation of AI and immersive learning technologies. 

Muddassir and his team will be joining us at the Summer Institute in Jacksonville, Florida this July.  

Jennifer Duda, Director, News Bureau and Community Engagement, will continue to serve as the AFIT Rep.
