AFIT Welcomes Dr. Nerita Hughes, new president of Bay College

We're pleased to announce that Dr. Nerita Hughes has been appointed the sixth president of Bay College, succeeding Dr. Laura Coleman. 

Nerita has demonstrated her commitment to student-centric education and community engagement in various leadership roles throughout her career, including Interim Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs and Workforce Innovation and Dean at North Hennepin Community College.   

Travis Blume will continue to serve as the AFIT Rep for Bay College.  

We look forward to our continued collaboration with Bay College and achieving our shared mission of shaping the future of higher education.
