AFIT welcomes Dr. Rose Mince, President of Carroll Community College

We are delighted to welcome Dr. Rose Mince, President of Carroll Community College in Westminster, Maryland to our collaborative community of innovators. 

Dr. Mince brings more than 35 years of community college experience to our Alliance. She joined Carroll Community College in 2017 and rose through the ranks, serving as Dean of the Faculty, Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs, Provost, and Associate President before taking the helm.  

Prior to Carroll, she spent many years at the Community College of Baltimore County, where she led nationally recognized learning outcomes assessment initiatives, freshman transition programs, and advancements in distance learning and instructional technology. 

Carroll Community College has established a Futures Think Tank to help the College develop a vision, goals, and plans looking 5, 10, and 20 years ahead, and, under Dr. Mince's leadership, the College is now poised to implement the organizational changes needed to bring those innovation and future-proofing goals to life.
