We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Mordecai Brownlee, President of Community College of Aurora (CCA), has joined our alliance of innovative higher education CEOs.
Mordecai is an inclusive educator committed to the intellectual and economic empowerment of diverse communities. He has raised millions for student scholarships and academic programs, secured multi-million-dollar capital construction projects, and served on many community, state, and national boards. During his previous tenure at St. Philip's College, Mordecai championed strategic enrollment and student success initiatives that led to record enrollment and awarding classes.
CCA's vision is "to be the college where every student succeeds.” Historically known as “the college without walls,” the CCA of today channels that sentiment with its commitment to being an institution free from all barriers to student success.
